We’re a digital media and events startup (think CNN Money for Millennials) run by award-winning entrepreneurs and Forbes 30 Under 30 entrants, with 20M aggregate reach and a series of sold-out events.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR an entrepreneurial and creative go-getter to join our NYC office to lead our sponsorship efforts for our event series OPENSTAGE, an intimate speaking series in Brooklyn.

THE ROLE: The Event Manager will be responsible for producing the events, securing sponsors, selling packages, pitching partnerships and ensuring the success of each event.
Your tasks will include:
- Research, source and develop industry contacts
- Sell sponsorship packages

- Create new event programs
- Build long-term relationships with clients

This role is creating and selling sponsorship opportunities and other marketing solutions across the current company partner portfolio, with the main focus on sports betting operators.

THE CHALLENGE
- Work with the Director Global Sponsorship Sales to develop Sportradar’s sponsorship business in the North America with a focus on the sports betting category
- Manage the growth of the ad:s (advertising & sponsorship) business by developing new commercial opportunities to service existing and future clients
- Manage relationships with sports rights-holder from conceptual discussions through to contracting and representation
- Create a model for sports betting sponsorship related advisory services geared towards both rights-holders and operators including sales/acquisition strategy, marketing activation and ROI measurement
- Drive acquisition of new business through market research, analysis and sales
- Prepare sales documentation including internal overviews and external presentations
- Present and sell opportunities to potential clients
- Contribute to the wider internal sponsorship and monetization strategy
- Monitor and highlight international trends in the Sponsorship & Advertising industry of sports betting operators and US media
- Manage sales pipeline on the internal CRM system (salesforce)
YOUR PROFILE
- Senior direct sponsorship sales experience – 7 figure partnership deals
- Experience consulting and advising clients about sponsorship sales and activation
- Understanding of the sports betting and gaming landscape
- Strong network across sporting rights-holders and major agency players in the US
- Positive personality with good networking skills

- Experience with a combination of any of following: league or event sponsorship, digital/social media, linear or OTT networks, experiential, custom production, talent rights/endorsements
- Proven experience in understanding the relationship between brand marketing objectives and cross-platform media offerings needed to help drive & achieve a brand’s business goals/results
- Ability to create cohesive 360 sponsorship programs with clear strategies and executional tactics
- Extensive experience designing and writing PowerPoint decks
- Comfort with ideating collaboratively or as an individual
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly in both writing and speech
- Demonstrated ability to stay organized and prioritize in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Passionate, driven, and personally accountable with a commanding presence and energy
- Flexibility to work in Stamford, CT headquarters approximately once a week
- Ability to travel domestically for client meetings and WWE events; approximately one time per month
