About the Role

In this role, you’ll help support CA Technologies charter to transform the IT industry. The CPO Product Operations team will have two primary objectives:

  • Deliver a business context-driven management system across CPO – providing line-of-sight between key activities, operational KPIs and financial results
  • Provide the proactive support and transparency required to enable the CPO organization (and the Business Units that comprise it) to build products that matter and to realize longer-term strategic objective
  • Success in the role will be measured by the performance of the business unit and the ability of the business unit to successfully operationalize its Board-approved strategic plan and achieve business priorities and financial results.

General Responsibilities:

  • Work in conjunction with Product Operations Leadership & individuals within the CPO organization to support their business needs while driving a level of standardization
  • Enhance and maintain a core set of standard reports that meet the needs of the business
  • Produce regular reports to an agreed cadence
  • Support analysis projects to understand and solve business problems
  • Support other Operations staff with reporting and business analysis needs

GLG is looking for an associate for a startup division, called Strategic Projects, to help grow demand for our products, build out a strong network of independent consulting talent (Council Members), and to help scale and professionalize our platform service. Strategic Projects employs a unique business model that combines partnering top tier independent consultants with industry experts to deliver client engagements. You are primarily able to execute the plan for the business, but also able to wrap head around rapidly evolving business and provide input to senior leadership on its direction.

This position will report to AVP, Strategic Projects who will provide a close mentoring environment to rapidly accelerate development, while also allowing autonomy to drive projects forward.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Product Management: Work with senior leadership to define new product parameters and KPIs
  • Product Marketing: Evaluate client leads and execute campaigns to attract target customers. Formulate messaging, cadence and response strategy
  • Council management: Develop communication plan (CRM) with our independent consultants to drive loyalty, satisfaction and insights. Run recruiting and marketing campaigns, help build a community for our members
  • Operations: Work closely with our internal team to understand client and product pain-points. Scale and professionalize our platform service
  • Insights and analytics: Deep-dive into client and product marketing insights, conduct market research

Requirements:

  • Preferred qualifications: 3+ years of product marketing, operations, market research, or consumer behavior. Experience with service and platform products is preferred
  • Comfort with ambiguity, team player and creative problem-solver
  • Personable, energetic and motivated to grow the business from ground up
  • Deep intellectual curiosity, integrity combined with practical sense to cut to core issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Solid computer skills and analytics, i.e., Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

As Sr. Manager, Product Operations at Grubhub, you will be responsible for developing and delivering processes and procedures across a broad swath of initiatives for Grubhub’s product and design organization. You will collaborate across the organization with Senior Leadership and critical business stakeholders, and be responsible for the evolution and optimization of Grubhub’s product and design planning process. You will develop and own the product roadmapping, goal setting, communication, and prioritization process. This highly-visible role will use their experience in project management methodologies to drive the planning and execution of work across our Product and Design teams while connecting and providing transparency to our business partners across the organization. You will report directly into the Chief Product Officer for the Grubhub organization, based in our New York office.

Some Challenges You’ll Tackle

  • Establish key performance metrics for the product organizations and develop long term strategies and processes to improve them
  • Help drive a cohesive product roadmap process and strategy across multiple product organizations
  • Own the development and communication framework of the overall product roadmap and develop the process to keep it up to date and accurate
  • Coordinate and track cross initiative projects. Foster an environment of collaboration, partnership, customer focus, quality, excellence, urgency, accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.
  • Lead the development and execution of “lean” processes to support improvements to our current product development process. Example of this include developing common product launch procedures, a common product brief, new PM and designer onboarding processes and ongoing training.
  • Develop and facilitate the go-to market process for all launches.
  • Be a true “servant-leader” and support the team’s efforts to identify, communicate, and resolve interdependencies, risks, and issues. Help teams manage and resolve conflicts.
  • Collaborate with the product and design leadership to understand existing bottlenecks and develop new programs and processes to address
  • Own the KPI and KEI goal setting process for the and track attainment of goals
  • Foster a positive culture of diverse collaboration and fun through leading efforts around team building, celebrating wins, running retrospectives, and implementing action plans to help teams operate efficiently and with purpose.
  • Maintain effective communication with senior management to keep them aware of critical issues and develop action plans for addressing issues and removing roadblocks.

You Should Have

  • 5 + years of experience as a Program, Project, Product, or Operations leader within a technology or e-commerce organization.
  • Must be a solutions enabler that can understand business requirements and work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to arrive at solutions.
  • Collaborative: You will need to work with a diverse set of product and design leaders to understand key issues, develop solutions and roll them out successfully.
  • Enthusiastic: You’ll need an optimistic, charismatic and outgoing personality in order to lead by influencing others and you’ll be a key part of making our workplace fun and energetic.

Product Operations Specialist
ZocDoc– New York, NY 10012 (SoHo area)

Join Zocdoc as a Product Operations Specialist! In this role, you’ll ensure that Zocdoc’s products are fully utilized by both our patient and provider customers. You’ll work to define metrics, measure, implement, and provide inputs on the future of the Zocdoc’s advertising products to ensure our customers are getting the most out of Zocdoc. You’ll also ensure that the data that powers our marketplace is as accurate and up to date as possible. You’ll partner directly with our Sales, Data, Product Marketing, and Product organizations to design the operations that keep our products up to date and effective.

What You’ll Do:

    • Bring the value of Zocdoc to life, by monitoring all aspects of a product’s lifecycle from launch, rollout, and ongoing iteration and operations, including internal stakeholder training and communication
    • Obtain customer and internal user feedback and suggest appropriate product revisions while handling internal and external objections
    • Equip our client-facing teams with relevant data & insights to support feature rollout, new sales, renewals, and quarterly business reviews
    • Develop automated, scalable reporting to empower our product and sales managers to understand our client’s utilization of the Zocdoc product.
    • Problem-solve and address ad-hoc client data needs with our Sales, Product Marketing, and Product teams

What’s Required:

  • 3-4 years of work experience in relevant roles, such as business analytics, business intelligence, product or product marketing
  • Client-facing experience a plus; strong communication skills are a must
  • Action-oriented attitude and roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
  • Extensive experience with and enthusiasm for analytical problem solving, with strong attention to detail
  • Passion for telling a story with data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint; experience with SQL, Redshift, Tableau, Looker, and Salesforce a plus
