Company websites are among the best sources of job listings. One potential advantage of looking for jobs posted on company websites is that they might not be advertised anywhere else – meaning you’ll have less competition.
There are many resources (mostly free) that you can use to build a list of these potentially appealing employers that might post the perfect job for you on their company website.

LinkedIn used to be an incredibly easy way to identify companies by industry in a geographic area. However, in March 2017, LinkedIn changed it’s User Interface and eliminated many search features and filters, making this much harder. In March 2017, LinkedIn significantly changed it’s search features and eliminated the ability to build a company list by industry, size, geographic area or other factors… unless you subscribe to their ultra-expensive (think $900 per month) membership. It’s a tremendous loss and hopefully with social pressure and online complaints (there are many of them), LinkedIn will restore these features in the future.
Job seekers can waste a lot of time searching pouring through online job advertisements to find appropriate appealing and appropriate job openings.
