Position Information:

The Market Manger will be responsible for representing the market viewpoints into each TDH business line while integrating the Providers/Provider Networks as the CLOPS primary stakeholder. The Market Manager will work closely with the Product Managers and Operations Managers to infuse a market understanding into their strategies, product roadmaps, business model designs, competitive positioning, and optimization for their target provider profiles. The Market Manager will be a product and business model subject matter expert for each product line and will be the primary owner for the associated Provider voice for that product line.

Success will be defined by documented market development plans for each business line that details direction and significant annual objectives milestones. These plans will drive the growth of the business while integrating the growth of providers into the business model’s success. In your role, we expect you to:

Be Strategic. You will collaborate with the product operations team to define strategic direction and work towards common goals.

Execute. You will work closely with your product team partners but be self-sufficient and self-directed. Your expertise and focus on the unique business line requirements for the platform and providers will help us to improve our service delivery, competitive position, and gross margins.

Experiment and Refine. We are a learning organization so you will be expected to take risks, quickly analyze impacts, and make changes adjustments to optimize business line plans.

Additional Details About the Role:

  • Participate in the business line product strategy and roadmap development through market and competitive assessments.
  • Provide in-depth market information to support the formation and development of the product portfolio planning process.
  • Assist product management to understand and articulate the key business issues that should drive new product requirements.
  • Contribute and assist in the management of the KPI creation, reporting and activities to support improvements.
  • Create and communicate market information program that improves the overall market awareness of the CLOPS organization for all our business line areas.
  • Continually provide business line competitive update assessments that highlight direction and product opportunities to expand offerings.
  • Develop a comprehensive program that integrates the Provider’s voice into the business models and product delivery. This position will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic and tactical product and/or marketing and/or business plans that will lead to profitable business growth. The MM is responsible for understanding the economic and competitive dynamics of the market, as well as the continuous voice of the customer – gathering and monitoring industry trends, understanding the needs/trends of our customers as well as their customers. This includes development and management of Intellectual Property (IP) direction and strategic partnerships, as required. The MM provides support to customers and sales, and collaborates with Marketing Communications on development of effective promotional campaigns. The MM is responsible for attending or insuring OFS representation at key Standards committees. Also responsible for commercial leadership to OFS Labs (R&D group) for the Aerospace and Defense. market.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops and implements multifaceted A&D business plan. Makes and directs new product proposals / development. Develops pricing for new products. Determines appropriate sales channel(s). Conducts Customer and Market research (Voice of the Customer).
  • Participated and leads cross-functional product teams to carry out the product executions plans including technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing
  • Develops alliances to create new and strengthen existing channels to market. Participates in formulating strategy and executing plans for IP licensing.

Analytics:

  • Measure overall sales by customer and product mix, identifying new product introductions, to develop countermeasure to maximize profitable growth.
  • Identify Market segments and nichés by growth rate, phase of maturity, barriers to entry, and other market forces
  • Conduct formal VOC initiatives and analyze the data to segment, identify trends, and recommend new product development to meet the identified customer/market needs.

Primary Objective: The Market Manager will work in conjunction with the Director of Global Marketing to develop and execute marketing strategies to grow Nonin’s business and meet company objectives. This includes working in both an up and downstream capacity to develop and support the launch of products in personal health and wellness markets and well as in traditional medical device markets.   • Provide leadership, strategic direction, and collaboration for identified and assigned marketing deliverables by establishing strategies and plans to meet corporate objectives.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, OneNote, Teams, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA preferred
  • Prior experience working in a regulated industry.
  • Experience working with a variety of partners.
  • Technical aptitude and/or prior experience working with technical products.
Physical Requirements:
  • Sit/stand/walk 8 hrs/day.
  • Ability to lift 30lbs
  • Travel 25% – 30%
