What will you do as a Fraud Investigator for CardWorks?

As a Fraud Investigation and Recovery Associate, you will be investigating fraud or abuse cases related to account holder information for our clients. You will need to use excellent analytical, investigative, and communication skills in order to resolve cases successfully.

Essential Functions:

  • Completes the necessary steps to initiate, properly conduct credit card claim investigations and respond to all claim related inquiries within regulatory or required timeframes.
  • Responsible for performing reasonable credit card investigations and filing applicable chargebacks to help mitigate fraud losses for our clients.
  • May make and/or receive phone calls to and cardholders and merchants when necessary for the claim investigations.
  • Solves problems in an effective and efficient manner with a clear understanding of when to escalate an issue or report a trend or problem to management.
  • Makes sound decisions and takes appropriate actions in the best interest of our clients.
  • Responsible for monitoring all work queues to ensure that they are maintained according to regulatory guidelines for our clients, and completes all work timely and accurately.

Compensation:

Entry Level Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour (10 hrs/day, 5 days a week – frequent overtime)

First-Year Total Compensation Range: $38,000 – $42,000

Job Duties:

  • Monitoring, following, and videotaping claimants as they conduct their normal day-to-day activities.
  • Excellent note-taking
