Brooklyn Brewery is a leading global independent craft brewer and a pioneer of the American craft beer revolution. The US Field Marketing Manager will support the US Field Marketing Director and serve as the marketing team’s liaison to the US sales team, overseeing the day-to-day marketing operations. They will work with the US sales team to develop & implement on-brand, growth-oriented sales & marketing programs, identify & execute additional brand building opportunities, and support the company’s broader mission & goals in the United States.

US Market Planning (50%):

  • Annual Business Plan – Brooklyn Brewery’s sales organization operates around an annual go-to-market strategy, which drives activity throughout the year.

  • Lead the development of the US Annual Business Plan (ABP)

  • Develop on-brand, innovative, compelling marketing programs that target sales goals, support retailers and engage consumers

  • Project manage stakeholders, timeline, communication & workflow to ensure timely hand off & a complete ABP

  • Collaborate with brand marketing to develop marketing collateral (POS, creative, etc) & to tie-in digital execution

  • Establish KPIs and program goals

  • Market Awareness – Remain current on beer, CPG and general cultural & consumer trends; incorporate key learnings into market programming

  • Calibrates with other key markets; engages in best practice & knowledge sharing

General Brand Building (20%):

  • Grow awareness of the Brooklyn Brewery brand in the United States.

Qualifications

Field Marketing Ambassador
Sixpoint Brewing Company – Brooklyn, NY

Position Summary

The Field Marketing Ambassador is responsible for executing field marketing events and activations (brand owned and operated events, festivals, community events, mobile happy hours, etc.) through the ABV mobile marketing program. The Field Marketing Ambassador will report to the Events & Partnership Manager or Field Marketing Specialist, depending on territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading event execution against the event calendar as outlined by the Events & Partnership Manager and/or Field Marketing Specialist.
  • Curating branded consumer experience at events, driving engagement with activation tactics
  • Sampling and education: Drive trial of core brands and new innovations as outlined by event goals while educating consumers on the brands and products to create emotional connection with attendees
  • Partnering with sales and brand management teams to execute events, coordinating sample pick-up, setting up brand experience at events and clean-up post event
  • Managing internal or externally sourced staff to support event execution

Summary
The Field Marketing Manager (FMM) has his/her finger on the pulse of the City and will use their regional expertise to translate Ellenos’ strategy and goals into tactics. S/he will drive field marketing business plans, metrics for growth, and collaborate closely with key departments. This role reports to the Regional Field Marketing Manager – Emerging Markets and is accountable for growing and retaining the Ellenos customer base, word of mouth, brand awareness and loyalty, and supporting product sales.

Essential Functions
· Execute the defined market area field marketing and merchandising activities, driving strategic change and helping to develop Ellenos into a household name and brand

· Be the voice of the brand, constantly engaging both consumers and retail personnel

· Support annual strategy, pitching in-field concepts to the RFMM – Emerging Markets

· Research, secure and manage execution of targeted local events and partnerships

· Manage all aspects of the event planning process including: personnel, product delivery/distribution, refrigeration, transportation, supplies, contracts, insurance, permits

· Lead and execute the demo/event program in natural, conventional, club and specialty retail channels, including owning the master schedule, partnering/confirming dates with external regional retailers and internal sales personal, building out a plan for your team

· Execute retail field marketing tour at local and out-of-market accounts. Includes overnight travel and execution for multiple days at a time

· Work with Regional Marketing Manager to establish goals and metrics for area demo/event/merchandising plan with aim of increasing store velocities

· Be the link between the sales and marketing teams to ensure in-field programs are supporting both departments

· Oversee the recruitment, hiring, training, coaching and retention of in-field reps

· Provide regular direction of in field reps to ensure brand accuracy, superior customer interactions and flawless event executions

· Lead bi-monthly reporting of in-field activities, including qualitative (consumer, retailer insights) and quantitative results (performance to KPI’s)

· Oversee budget tracking, forecasting and inventory for the field teams, reconciling budgets on a monthly basis

· Be constantly finding new, innovative ideas to maximize the infield marketing experience, pitching opportunities internally on a quarterly basis

· Work closely with marketing team in developing a strategy and execution of the regional social media plan

· Travel and stay onsite at events in the assigned region. Occasional travel and hotel stay over nights and weekends is required
