The Tech Department at Fake Love is seeking an experienced Creative Technologist. You will report to the Director of Technology and work with a team of other technologists, creatives and producers. This is a junior to mid-level position.
Your job will be to execute the technical side of projects – primarily in software development, but occasionally working with hardware as well. For some projects, you will be expected to contribute to creative ideation, while also keeping those ideas technically feasible. On a typical project, you will work under a Lead Creative Technologist, but ideally you will advance to become one yourself after gaining more experience. Our projects typically have tight turnaround times, so there is a lot of need for improvisation and keeping a relaxed attitude.
The ideal candidate has a deep creative drive in addition to their technical prowess. You should have a portfolio that demonstrates this. You should be curious and have a wide range of knowledge about technologies and softwares used, but also a core focus or specialty. You are comfortable with self driven projects as well as working in teams with others. You don’t need to know how to do it all, but you should know how to research and find the right answers.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Report to the Director of Technology
- Support jobs in production via technical problem solving, software development, on-site installation and documentation
- Work and collaborate with other vendors and internal teams to ensure a high quality product
- Be self driven to explore new technologies and ideate and execute projects involving those findings

We are seeking a Senior Creative Technologist to join our New York Innovation team At Reprise. Creative Technologists are tasked with bringing their deep understanding of innovative technologies out there to bear on the agency’s creative and product offerings. Whitney’s Technology
Our main website was built in-house on Ruby on Rails 5, with a MySQL database, SASS, JavaScript ES6, webpack, runs within Docker on Linux servers, and is served through NGINX. It integrates with several other systems and API’s using JSON and XML. Some of our other sites are built in Python (Django), Drupal 7, and WordPress, and run on Apache. Everything is versioned through Git.
