About the role:
CaaStle is seeking a motivated, passionate and highly organized Creative Operations Director to play an integral role within the Creative Team. As an entrepreneurial company at the cutting edge of retail’s rental movement, we are looking for this person to drive creative output within a fast-paced environment that supports the business objectives of our brands.The Creative Operations Director is responsible for overseeing and managing all Creative process and resource allocation (from staffing, project management and budget oversight) to facilitate and drive the development and review of all content (including but not limited to photography, email, social media assets, video and site assets).   • Establish processes and infrastructure/tools that will lend itself to the overall efficiency of the creative development process.

We’d love for you to have:

  • Experience: 7-8+ years relevant work experience, most recently driving leadership within a creative traffic/operations environment.
  • Experience partnering with Creative and Marketing and VM teams to deliver digital materials for evergreen business, launches, and performance marketing across multiple brands
  • Strong leadership and project management skills. Must be capable of handling numerous projects in fast-paced, high-pressure environment ensuring deliverables are achieved on time while maintaining the highest quality. Previous experience leading a large team is a must.

ABOUT THE VOICES INCUBATOR

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) launched Grand Challenges to bring the world’s brightest minds together to solve our world’s most pressing challenges. By investing in small grants & holistic support, the Challenges foster innovation and experimentation for social impact. The Voices for Economic Opportunity Grand Challenge was launched to address the persistent toxic narratives about poverty in the U.S. In addition to providing $100,000 to 28 organizations, activists, and storytellers, BMGF is partnering with Purpose to design, support, and strengthen this community through the Voices for Economic Opportunity Incubator.

The Voices Incubator provides resources for participants around community & collaboration, learning & training, and testing & experimentation to support the creation of breakthrough creative, scalable and strategic interventions that begin to shift harmful narratives on poverty and economic mobility in America.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Purpose is seeking a Creative Producer of Training and Learning to join our diverse and exciting team. One of the key offerings of the Voices Incubator is a dynamic, virtual, and equity-centered curriculum for participants to learn from each other and access leading research on narrative change so that they can better change hearts and minds through their own creative projects. The Creative Producer of Training and Learning will help design the Incubator’s online gatherings and learning sessions, including a Virtual Convening with the full Incubator cohort, as well as homeroom sessions with tailored pairings of participants. In addition to developing the technical experience of our Training & Learning program, the Creative Producer will manage our relationships with experts and facilitators who present to the Incubator group, support the facilitation of online digital communications, and engage participants with accessible interactive tools. We are looking for someone who has experience managing virtual events or workshops with learning communities, project management expertise, and is comfortable with interactive tools.

We’re looking for team players with passion, a sharp mind, high integrity, a hands-on attitude, and a collaborative, problem-solving spirit.

The role reports to the Voices Incubator project leads and is based in Purpose’s New York office. We are open to applicants who may currently be based elsewhere due to the pandemic, but will be back in New York eventually.

This role is offered at the Associate Director tier, which has a salary range of $80,000 – $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and manage relationships with a diversity of partner individuals and organizations, from high-level funders to national nonprofits, legal funds, and local organizers
  • Plan, manage, recommend, collaborate, and coordinate between team members to deliver interactive learning sessions and experiential events
  • Implement learning strategy, planning and production
  • Manage virtual events from strategy alignment, briefing, and design development through production in partnership with key stakeholders
  • Coordinate with external facilitators, researchers, and performers to ensure through-line of experimentation, accessibility, and equity are maintained within all learning opportunities
  • Consistent communication with all team members, from core team to stakeholders, management and beyond
  • Respond to and interested in best practices in virtual events and sustained curriculum with remote, impacted communities
  • Budget management, including vendor contractors, external facilitators, and expense invoices

Producer – Global Creative Operations, Origins
The Estée Lauder Companies

Responsible for the project management of specific global Creative programs in addition to supporting the production of all 360° global campaigns with a focus on photography, digital, social and video.

The individual will develop and distribute assets on a global basis and work closely with local markets to ensure that brand voice is consistent. He/she will also partner with cross-functional teams, to conceptualize, produce and execute on-brand creative content for all platforms.

In addition, this person will maintain a strong working knowledge of Origins brand, its heritage, customers, products and retail environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage all Pre and post Production on all video/still assets including:

o Keeping all pre and post schedules up do date; Distributing schedules to creative partners to make sure everyone is on track

o Partnering with design director to ensure we have all comps, props, & anything needed for shoots

o Tracking all vendor estimates, obtaining estimate approval and making sure vendors are in the system and paid on time

o Coordinate all casting briefs and casting needs

o Planning, executing, and attending all shoots, to ensure are on schedule and we are capturing everything that was briefed

o Track and update the asset list with any production partners and internal partners

o Manage all retouching schedules and vendors to ensure files are delivered on time

o Communicating with vendors to obtain timely and accurate files

o Distribute all files to the right people

o Make sure that all files are on the server, naming configurations are correct and in the DAM.

  • Work closing with the art director on concepts to make sure what is being produced is within budget
  • Fiscally responsible and resourceful in finding alternative ways to save money; e.g. setting up an in house studio and shooting one off requests, hiring re-touchers, video director, to save resources

  • Coordinate with multiple producers, re-touchers, techs, photographers and art directors to keep consistency across all projects
  • Participate in final image reviews
  • Manage ecommerce digital images and traffic images, plan timelines, delegate and track retouched assets for future and current use
  • Apply approved concept directions to designs of all program elements.
  • Prepare mechanical files and package for delivery.
  • Check all print proofs for color and artwork.
  • Participate in weekly Creative department status meetings to ensure timely delivery of all program elements.
  • Update status docs to make sure that everyone is communicated to
  • Manage social asset production from concept ideation to final asset delivery

o Spearhead planning of social shoots

o Manage copy timelines – pre and post approval.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
  • 4 years of related experience with strong print and digital design background from conceptualization to production.
  • Strong ability to successfully communicate design direction and strategy.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and is able to work with a range of disciplines (marketing, creative, productions, etc.)
  • Superior knowledge on skills with Adobe Suites.
  • Expert knowledge of typography, color, usability, layout, production, and other design principles.
  • Conceptual thinking and hands-on design skills.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong ability to organize and manage multiple projects and to meet deadlines

The Director, Brand Operations, reporting to the Senior Director of Brand, will oversee a team of 30, plus a host of freelance talent. He or she will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Brand functions, including recipe card production, project management, creative production and two

  • Ambassador for Brand, creating meaningful relationships with key stakeholders
  • Oversee and lead critical brand marketing production teams
  • Development, implementation and oversight of creative workflow and process
  • Management, oversight and prioritization of the brand project portfolio
  • Budget management and forecasting for the Brand team in collaboration with Head of Brand
  • Establish processes and infrastructure in pursuit of greater efficiencies
  • Relationship management of Growth, Product, and Tech partners
  • Optimize our marketing tech systems (Bynder, Wrike, ACS, Sketch, etc)

  • Area expert in end-to-end production, including print, photography and video
