Module 8: Grow Your LinkedIn Connections The Right Way

March 5, 2015 by Career Change Coach

Now that your LinkedIn profile is set up and ready to impress, you want to connect with as appropriate people on LinkedIn.  Here’s why…

When HR professionals, headhunters and hiring managers search for candidates on LinkedIn for job openings they have, their search results are sorted by “Relevance”.

That means, if you share a 2nd degree LinkedIn connection (e.g. you know someone who they know) – or even a common Group connection (e.g. you graduated from the same school or share another affiliation) – your LinkedIn profile is more likely to land much higher in their search results…. and that’s a very good thing in a crowded marketplace of millions of profiles!

Watch this training video to quickly, easily and comfortably grow your LinkedIn network and help your profile get found more often by HR professionals and recruiters.
