EDUCATION EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or another relevant field AND a minimum of 9 years relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Outstanding academics with the demonstrated ability to apply learned knowledge
  • Demonstrated experience in application server administration in Jboss, Websphere, Weblogic, and/or tc server
  • Demonstrated experience in the successful implementation of technology solutions
  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a large team or departmental setting

The Client Systems Architect is a highly technical position responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, administration, security, maintenance and support of the Starz/Lionsgate Windows and Apple client/server environments. The Client Systems Architect is a key figure in setting policy and a subject matter expert on Windows and Apple Systems for end users. This position manages all packaging, compliance, life cycle and deployment for Windows and Apple applications. This position also architects, maintains and supports Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Microsoft InTune, JAMF, iOS, iPadOS, tvOS and Mobile environments. This position also mentors all other client system engineers and support engineers involved with Windows and Apple Client Systems. This role sets the roadmap for Windows and Apple Client systems at Starz and works in tandem with Lionsgate IT Engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining a strategic vision for Windows and Apple client systems
  • Serve as a technical expert and will lead and work with users and technical peer groups
  • Function as team lead for Windows and Apple client environment, provide oversight on daily activities to set priorities, function as mentor, help with problem escalation, and communicate significant problems or issues to management
  • Participate in the identification of vulnerabilities and their mitigation
  • Participate in the analysis, design and implementation of future infrastructure systems and services
  • Create and maintain documentation on SOPs and system design
  • Research, evaluate, recommend and implement new technologies

About the Role
