Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineer position is part of the Product Development Team. This is a full-time, exempt position. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following):

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

  • A demonstrated understanding and application of vector control, field-oriented control, and sensor-less software algorithms for Surface Permanent Magnet (SPM) and Interior Permanent Magnet (IPM) Brushless synchronous motors.

We are currently looking for a full-time Solar Design Engineer. The experienced Senior Solar Design Engineer is to lead the company’s electrical design and engineering efforts. This position will be in-person with opportunities for a remote/hybrid position for properly qualified candidates.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Design and develop Residential and Commercial detailed PV and ESS electrical design packages, utility interconnection drawings, site layout drawings, zoning permit packages, as-built drawing packages and other deliverables.
  • Coordinate structural, civil, and electrical components into a working plan set
  • Ensure designs and plan sets to meet requirements across a variety of jurisdictional agencies (e.g., DSA, DGS, OSFM, and local AHJs)
